Here are photos of me being crazy: flying in helicopters, drilling, carrying batteries, shooting guns, laughing, skipping, smiling, and having fun in the long Alaskan summer days, plus I have added some more cool stuff from other escapades!

Sara and Ally (The Interns)
These are photos of my roommate Sara and I . We have soooooo much fun together. Crazyness all the time! Sara in her flight suit getting ready to fly on the bird. Twins in our awesome orange Montbell puffs. Oh yeah, the Bolder-Boulder lunch boxes. They travel everywhere we go! Mmmm... Taking in Alaska! Hiking Powerline Pass near Anchorage.
I love being alive and experiencing all. I am in Alaska for my third summer working for UNAVCO Plate Boundary Observatory. We install permanent GPS stations all around the state to track the deformation of the Pacific and North American plate boundary. I am a Student Field Assistant so I get to be a grunt girl, ride around in helicopters, haul 70 lbs batteries, use power tools, shoot guns, pack/ship gear, travel to remote places in Alaska, learn about geology/geophysics, see amazing wildlife and beauty...It rocks, it's awesome, I love it. Lots of laughs, hard work, long days, and beautiful sights.
